In 2006 she was named Interviewer of the Year at the British Press Awards〔("Guardian is newspaper of the year" ), ''Press Gazette'', 20 March 2006〕 and Feature Writer of the Year at the ''What the Papers Say'' Awards.〔("Top Award for Observer Writer" ), ''The Observer'', 17 December 2006〕 In 2010 she was named Writer of the Year at the PPA Awards for her interviews in Esquire.
